AMT Schmid is an innovative medium-sized company with a clear goal: To restore mobility for people who are restricted in their freedom of movement and opportunities. For over 40 years, we have been developing and producing standardised industry and customer-specific drive solutions primarily for the healthcare sector. Our innovative and individual drives are also increasingly finding their way into other areas of application.

Our drive solutions are known in the industry as compact, light, energy-saving, powerful and individually adaptable. This is why they can be found in almost all power wheelchairs, stair lifts or stair climbers from renowned manufacturers. With our products, people get their freedom of movement back.
Differential drives
AMT differential drives impress with their robust and durable design, compactness, high efficiency and low noise.
Right-angled drives
AMT angle drives include worm, worm-helical and helical gearboxes, the latter of which exceed industry standards.
