For 15 years, Tobias Sauter has been part of AMT Schmid – taking on new responsibilities and gaining a broad understanding of our company from very different perspectives.
His journey began in IT and process management, an area he led for several years. On July 1, 2023, Tobias became Head of Production. Today, his responsibilities include manufacturing and assembly, equipment engineering, logistics and maintenance. Since the end of March 2026, he has also served as an authorized signatory of AMT Schmid. At his anniversary celebration, CEO Dr. Sascha Klett emphasized that Tobias’ contribution cannot be described by positions and responsibilities alone. Throughout the years, he has been valued for his commitment, reliability and composure – combined with a positive and calm approach even when facing demanding situations.
One particularly personal moment highlighted the impact Tobias has had on others. Today’s Head of IT recalled how Tobias took him under his wing earlier in his career, shared his knowledge and experience, and supported his professional development.
Dr. Sascha Klett also expressed his appreciation on a personal level, thanking Tobias not only on behalf of AMT Schmid but also for trusted collaboration.
