Last week we had the pleasure of attending a children's football day, and it was really great!
Not only did the kids have a great time playing and learning new skills, but they also got the chance to train with a professional youth coach from a well-known football club. The children - especially those from socially disadvantaged families or from an environment with a migrant background - are motivated to move more and strengthen their self-confidence. A considerable number of the participating children then become active in a football club and are thus helped to build up social contacts.
Football has the power to bring people together and break down barriers, regardless of age, gender, or background. It's a universal language that unites us all. The event was sponsored by AMT Schmid which meant that all of the training and activities were completely free for the kids!
It was amazing to see how much joy and excitement the children experienced throughout the day. Football truly has a way of breaking down barriers and bringing people together.
When it comes to football, there are no limits!
