Packing, unpacking, helping out is exactly your thing? If you are practical and like to move things around, you are in your element as a warehouse specialist.
During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything about receiving and checking incoming goods, storing and transporting goods. Picking, packing and loading of goods will then also be part of your tasks.
Your tasks:
- Loading and unloading trucks or containers, operating forklifts
- Receiving goods and checking them against the delivery documents
- Proper storage of stored goods
- Inventory controls
- Assembling deliveries, packing and loading the goods
- Labeling, marking, securing shipments
- Preparation of loading lists, shipping and accompanying documents
- Internal transport of materials
- Checking stock levels and reporting discrepancies
