Customized Gearmotors SLG 01 and SLG 02
 
The Gearmotors SLG 01 and SLG 02 were developed as complete units according to a customer request.
These consist of a pancake-motor with a high performance and
a 3-stage spur gear unit. This unit is driving two sprocket wheels on a geared shaft which can be inserted into the gearbox through a quill shaft.
On the motor side an electromagnetic brake is installed, which is braking when the electric circuit is open.
An integrated speed sensor with detection of the direction of rotation passes its signals to the motor controller which is used by the customer.
All the housing parts, the motor windings and the spur gears were developed and brought to series production readiness at AMT for this particular customer.
