Customized Gearbox EHSP
The gearbox ESHP was developed according to a customers request and data. The gearbox is designed as an overriding drive and is used as a part of a clamping system in lathing or milling machines. The ESHP gearbox has an input shaft, on which an electromotor is generating a speed difference between two output axles. By the speed difference on the two output axles, the regulation of the clamping force of the machine is achieved. If the motor speed is = 0, the clamping force is kept constant. Negative or positve speed difference means closing or opening the clamping system. By use of this new electric clamping system on a lathing or milling machine, the hydraulic system on the machine can be left out completely.
